TO ALL MIA QE CANDIDATE

We refer to the announcement made on the MIA QE website on 11 October 2005.

Please be informed that the Institute is currently revising the MIA QE syllabus for all four (4) papers. As such the new Financial Reporting Standards will only be included in the Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting syllabus for the March 2007 examination.

With regard to the revision of the MIA QE syllabus, the Institute will make an announcement on the website at least six (6) months prior commencement of the new syllabus which is scheduled on March 2007 sitting.

The Institute also wish to inform that the agreement with the existing Examination Body; Universiti Teknologi MARA has been renewed for a further period of three (3) years. Hence the examination centre for the examination will remain at the same venues until further notice.
