Saiful Fazli Ibrahim (31181) :-
- in his capacity as the company secretary of Teraju Ikatan Auto Sdn Bhd (“TIASB”) had been punished and ordered his name to be removed from the register and to pay costs of RM4000-00 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute on 6/12/2024 for he was between 26/1/2015 until 13/3/2018 and as discovered by Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (“SSM”), was found to have allowed one of the partners of Promentum Corporate Services who is not a member of the Institute nor a licensed secretary to use his company secretarial license to provide company secretarial services to TIASB and have therefore assisted a non-member of the Institute who is unqualified to hold out as a chartered accountant and/or a licensed secretary.
- in his capacity as the sole proprietor of FSS Management (“FSS”) had been punished and imposed a fine of RM4000-00 by the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute on 6/12/2024 for he was found on 13/3/2024 to have held himself out as a member in public practice by representing and/or advertising that he and/or FSS is qualified to provide accounting and secretarial services, when he and/or FSS displayed at FSS’s business signage with a list of services, amongst others, accounting and secretarial services which form part of the regulated public practice services and further while doing so, he does not possess a practising certificate issued by the Institute.
