Renewal Requirements

The requirements to renew the approved company auditor are as follows:-

  1. The renewal must be done using BLESS within 3 months and not later than 2 months from the expiry date of the previous approval.
  2. Applicants must fulfil the conditions set by the relevant monitoring agency and the renewal application must be supported by the relevant agencies.
  3. Late renewal which is done not more than one (1) year will affect the effective date of the approval.
  4. Auditor will have to resubmit the application and reattend the audit licence interview if failed to renew the approved auditor within one (1) year form the expiry date.

Complete the Online Form and upload following documents:

  1. Latest MIA Membership Subscription Receipt
  2. Latest Practicing Certificate Receipt
  3. Statutory Declaration Form

Submit

AG forward renewal application to relevant agencies
< MIA, SSM, SC, BNM >

MIA receive renewal application

Compliances will be checked based on:

  1. Current annual membership subscription & PC fee
  2. Professional Indemnity Insurance validity until 30 June of the following year with minimum coverage RM250,000 per partner per firm
  3. Submitted firm (s) Annual Return
  4. CPE Hours – Past 2 years CPE record
  5. Any Disciplinary Case (s)
  6. Compliance with ISQM
  7. Number of Audit Client
  8. Fit & Proper Criteria
