In our commitment to continuous self-learning and professional development via digital platforms, MIA has developed and launched our first interactive e-book.

The e-book is a digitalised and augmented version of the MIA Illustrative MPERS Financial Statements, with Commentaries and Guidance Notes, written by Mr Tan Liong Tong. The original print version was published in 2018 and has been very well received in the market and by members and member firms.

The e-book is portable and easily accessible as it is available on Windows, Android and iOS and can be accessed from laptops, smartphones and tablets, compared to the physical book that was published in 2018 in an A4 size with over 300 pages. This greatly enhances usability and enables learning anywhere, anytime. To improve the learning experience, the e-book has interactive features such as informative videos, audio commentaries and quizzes that will engage reader’s attention actively and enhance reader’s understanding.

MIA trusts that this e-book will enable members and member firms to make greater use of digital tools in work and daily lives to become more competent, productive and relevant in the digital economy. In line with our comprehensive digital initiatives under the MIA Digital Technology Blueprint, this e-book will be made available as part of our new e-Library – e-knowledge which was launched in July 2020. Other than the e-book, the e-Library currently hosts the latest circulars and past circulars for members’ reference. 2. Please use the email address used to receive notification from MIA and similar password to access the MIA Member Services Portal.
3. Upon registration, you will receive an activation email.
4. Once you create an account, you can download the MIA e-Reader.
5. To purchase the eBook, please login and follow the steps for payment. Once payment is done, you will receive a payment confirmation from MIA.
