Hiew Kim Loong (17435) had on 10 August 2020 been imposed a fine of RM5,000.00 and costs of RM5,000.00 wherein he had failed to discharge his duty as an auditor of the Company diligently in the opinion of the directors of the company.

The Disciplinary Appeal Board in exercise of its powers under Section 21 of the Accountants Act 1967 [Act 94] and Rule 28 of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (Disciplinary) Rules 2002 [P.U. (A) 229/2002] has made an order to reduce the fine imposed by DC and that the member has to pay the fine of RM2,500.00, confirm the costs and expenses of and incidental  before the DC and the investigation conducted by the Investigation Committee of RM5,000.00, and to pay the costs and expenses of and incidental to the deliberation by the DAB of RM1,000.00. The order of the DAB took effect on 8 October 2021.
