Prof. Dato’ Dr. Norman Mohd Saleh was appointed as MIA Council member on 1 August 2019.

He is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Strategy and Corporate Development), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

He has published more than 50 articles in local and international journals. His articles have appeared in reputable journals such as The Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, The International Journal of Accounting, Accounting and Business Research and Accounting and Finance. He was also the Chief Editor of the Asian Journal of Accounting and Governance. Also sits on editorial boards and served as a reviewer for various other journals.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Norman holds a Bachelor’s degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He obtained his Master of Science from the University of East Anglia, UK. He completed his PhD from La Trobe University, Australia.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Norman is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
