Mohamad Faisal Abdul Malik was elected as MIA Council member on 29 September 2019.

He is currently the Managing Partner of Faisal Malik & Co.

Mohamad Faisal has 23 years of diverse experience both in accounting and with multinational commercial firms. He is a member of the Discipline Committee Panel to the Malaysian Bar, President of Institute Syariah Audit Malaysia (ISAM), and a member of the Nexus Governing Committee (NGC) for Professional Services Productivity Nexus (PSPN) to Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). He also serves as an Adjunct Professor, Industry advisor and related subject matter expert at several local Universities.

He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and has attended the Business mentoring for mentors at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Entrepreneurship in emerging economies at the Harvard Business School. He is also an IBFIM Certified Professional Syariah Auditor (CPSA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFPTM).

Mohamad Faisal is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), a member of ASEAN CPA, a member of the Association of Certified Business Consultants (CBC), a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA). He is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM).
