Assoc Prof Dr Rosli Mohamad was appointed as a MIA Council member on 1 December 2021.

He is currently the Deputy Dean, Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz, School of Accountancy (TISSA-UUM), College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).

Dr Rosli’s primary teaching interest is Accounting Information Systems. His research interests include Accounting Information Systems, Electronic Business, Electronic Commerce, and Information Technology Usage in SMEs. To date, he has been involved in several research projects with various awarding grants (School, University and National). He also has published several academic works in both local and international journals and more than 20 articles in refereed/non-refereed conference proceedings. Apart from that, Dr. Rosli has conducted series of software training including UBS accounting, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Microsoft Office software.

Dr. Rosli has been serving on several administrative positions including Head of Department (Audit and Information Systems), Program Coordinator, Practical Training Coordinator and ACCA Liaison Officer.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM); a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM); and a PhD in Accounting Information Systems from UUM.

Assoc Prof Dr Rosli is an Associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
