ANNOUNCEMENTS BY BURSA MALAYSIA AND SECURITIES COMMISSION MALAYSIA IN RELATION TO COVID-19 OUTBREAK

Amidst the novel coronavirus pandemic and pursuant to the introduction of the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) from 18 to 31 March 2020, Bursa Malaysia and Securities Commision Malaysia have made announcements regarding the extension of time for reporting deadlines and holding of Annual General Meetings as follows:

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”)

On 17 March 2020, Bursa Malaysia has issued circulars to the Main Market Listed Issuers and ACE Market Listed Corporations on notifications relating to the holding of Annual General Meetings as well as the application of paragraphs/Rules 9.22, 9.23 and 9.25(2) of the Main and ACE Market Listing Requirements, amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.

Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”)
