Ahmad Adzli Bin Abdul Aziz (12183) had on 4 October 2021 been punished by the DC with suspension for three (3) months, imposition of a fine of RM5,000.00, cancelling of his Practising Certificate for three (3) months and to attend a course on Audit Quality Enhancement Programme conducted by the Institute within one (1) year from date of the DC decision  for committing an unprofessional conduct wherein he had failed to maintain, observe and apply the relevant professional standards as expected by every member in public practice for the purposes of assurance as to the quality of the public practice services provided by the firm.

The Disciplinary Appeal Board in exercise of its powers under Section 21 of the Accountants Act 1967 [Act 94] and Rule 28 of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (Disciplinary) Rules 2002 [P.U. (A) 229/2002] has made an order to confirm the decision of DC, that the said member have to pay the fine of RM5,000.00, cancelling of his Practising Certificate for three (3) months and to attend a course on Audit Quality Enhancement Programme conducted by the Institute within one (1) year, and to pay the costs and expenses of and incidental to the deliberation by the DAB of RM1,000.00. The order of the DAB took effect on 8 October 2021.
