Siti Rohana Mohamed Amin is the Executive Director of Membership, Technology & Operations (MTO), MIA. She leads and drives MTO’s objectives and goals which include the nation building exercise of increasing the number of accountancy professionals, the development of the MIA Competency Framework which defines the baseline competencies required to become accountancy professionals in line with international standards and developing the Information Technology Strategy Plan encompassing the Institute’s roadmaps on technology adoption.

She also ensures technologies within the Institute are used efficiently, effectively, and securely, while overseeing business process reengineering and embedding good IT governance and data integrity towards driving the Institute to become a digital and data-driven organisation for future proofing, as well as the operations of MIA regional offices.

She also contributes as a committee member of the Institute’s Digital Technology Implementation Committee in driving adoption of technology in the accountancy profession as well as a member of the National Data Sharing Policy working group led by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and the Prime Minister’s Office.

Siti Rohana combines global technology experience with deep and broad technical expertise in key areas of Application Development, System Integrations, and IT infrastructure. Prior to joining MIA, Siti Rohana held various senior technology-oriented roles, as Senior Manager, Global Delivery at DXC.technology (formerly known as Hewlett-Packard Malaysia); Manager, Global Application Delivery Support Centre – DXC.technology; and Chief Technology Officer, Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd.

Siti Rohana holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Malaya and is a Certified Scrum Product Owner.
